The Existence and Nature of God
As I have purposely attempted to interact online via social media with people, I’ve come to realize the general lack of understanding of the simple and foundational truths of who God is. Part of this is fueled by people with a church affiliation that is more important than the Scriptures and what they teach within their pages. At other times it's because churches do such a poor job of teaching biblical doctrines to its people. In both cases, these believers have an opinion about everything, it’s just that there is very little biblical truth in those opinions. Everyone has a proverbial ‘axe to grind.’ And I’m sure that some will say that I do too. The exception here is – I attempt to study, understand and then relate what Scripture and history says, not what my personal church does or what my personal opinions are.
